Our Time table of animal handling events happens summer or winter, giving everyone the opportunity to get involved. (please note; there maybe a slightly different timetable running during the week and weekend. Also some events are weather permitting and will vary due to the time of year or animal breeding programmes. The Animal Barn doors close approx half an hour before Park closing)
When is Farmer Palmer’s re-open after lockdown?
UPDATE: Farmer Palmer's is now open with morning and afternoon sessions. 4th - 10th July is for Annual Pass Holders ONLY, visits must be reserved via your Annual Pass Customer Portal. Tickets for non-pass holders will be available from 7th July via the online shop. Please note the daily timetable of Animal Activities below is a "work in progress" and may not run exactly as shown. An up-to-date version of the timetable will be on display at the front counter when you arrive. Important changes:
  • Online pre-booking for admission is now essential
  • There will be daily admission limits in place
  • Separate Morning and Afternoon sessions
  • The safety of our team and visitors remains a priority

Watch our resident piggies take their morning run for their breakfast. Weather permitting, they don't like running in the rain (but don't worry, they still get their breakfast!)

Learn about our resident pigs, come and meet them and give them a stroke. They're very friendly but please don't pick up their food and always remember to wash you hands.

10.30am Tractor Trailer Ride. Calling all young farmers! £1 per person. Watch our 'Virtual Tractor-Ride Journey'! The tractor trailer may follow social distancing guidelines. Please respect this.

12.15pm Hand Feeding Deer Experience
Red Deer
12.15pm Meet and Hand Feed Deer - An exciting, interactive experience with real red deer. (Generally runs Holidays and Weekends, please call to check if this event is running if it's essential to your visit).

Ride on a tractor trailer and stop off to meet and hand feed the beautiful Red Deer their lunch. Awesome! The experience lasts approximately 25 minutes. (additional charge applies). Please note this activity is weather permitting.

1pm – 2pm Farm Park Closed For Cleaning
The farm park will be closed each day between 1pm and 2pm so the team can carry out their cleaning duties. Please vacate the park in good time.

Cheer on your favourite piggy in our daily Pig Race! The louder you cheer, the faster they run for their dinner! OR if it's raining (the racing pigs don't like to run in the rain!) come and meet our resident pigs in the animal barn, learn about them and come and give them a stroke. They're very friendly but please don't pick up their food and always remember to wash you hands.
