Animal Activities

Find more about our activities by clicking on them! Our friendly reception team will show you a daily timetable of our animal events when you arrive to the park. Please refer to this throughout your visit and arrive at the demonstration areas at least 5 minutes before the event is due to start, our Animal Barn team run to a tight schedule! Enjoy seeing and learning about our animals, our team will be happy to answer your questions and always remember to wash you hands. Have fun everyone!

Deer Feeding Safari

Running from March through September or October, the Deer Feeding Activity aligns perfectly with the spring, summer, and early autumn seasons when the park is bursting with life.

Pig Racing

Pig racing at Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park is not just about racing pigs; it’s about creating unforgettable memories for children. The excitement in the air is palpable as kids eagerly await the sight of these lovable, oink-tastic athletes darting down the track.

Goat Feeding

We have 7 different breeds of goat here at Farmer Palmer’s: Boer, Golden Guernsey, Anglo-Nubian, Angora, Bagots, Ganglo-Nubian, and Pygmy. You can feed them all in our Big Barn!

Alpaca Chatter

Meet Blaze, Stormy, Vinnie, and Jago arrived to Farmer Palmer’s in March 2023. Come and listen to our Alpaca Chatter* to find out more about them.

Pampered Ponies

In the summer our ponies live outside in the field or paddock and eat grass and a little pony food. You can be a farmer for the day and brush them in the Big Barn.

Meet the Cows

This is where our farm park began, an old dairy farm! Come and watch our cow milking demo’s, but check our daily timetable for when it is on.

Hold a Guinea Pig in Creature Comforts

Children will get opportunities to meet and cuddle our guinea pigs & rabbits during our ‘Creature Comforts’ sessions throughout the day.

Feed the Guinea Pigs in Veggie Time

You can find our guinea pigs & rabbits in our Big Barn where you can join them for a few different activities, including Creature Comforts and Veggie Time!

Indoor Play

The Little Farmer's Barn

This attraction is ideal for younger children. From soft play zones to slides and interactive climbing equipment, your children will have a blast in a safe environment.

Straw Mountain

This offers a sense of adventure, allowing kids to navigate a labyrinth of straw bales while embracing the thrill of discovery.

Soft Play

Our soft play is a colourful, safe, and well-designed space, where children can run, climb, and explore to their heart’s content. With cushioned surfaces, it’s the ideal spot for kids to unleash their energy and develop essential motor skills.

Pedal Tractors

This partially covered space allows children to shelter from the rain while pedalling off their excess energy. It’s not only a fun and playful activity but also an excellent way for kids to build and develop their motor skills.

Indoor Bouncy Castle

Designed with children’s development and entertainment in mind. This indoor bouncy castle is the ultimate playground for kids.

Small Barn

Our Small Barn provides extra seating, climbing walls, and a true farming experience with pedal diggers for kids to move straw!

Hen House Restaurant

We cater for adults & children, using fresh ingredients, top-quality pork, lamb, beef, or chicken. The vegetables will be peeled on the day. Our homemade cakes are famous locally!

We understand the joy kids feel when they can cool down and enjoy watery fun during the summer months. That’s why we’ve crafted the perfect oasis for young adventurers – the Splash Zone.

Sand Playground

The Sand Playground boasts an array of climbing equipment, slides, and swings tailored to cater to children of different age groups.

Trim Trail

The Trim Trail at Farmer Palmer’s is a dynamic adventure course. It is designed to promote physical activity, playfulness, and the development of essential skills in children.

Outdoor Bouncy Castle

This attraction offers the perfect opportunity for kids to engage in fun-filled activities. It also allows them to soak up the fresh air and enjoy the great outdoors.

Animal Pens

Visitors can get up close and personal with a diverse range of farm animals.

Wendy House

With its multiple imaginative houses, it offers an opportunity for kids to nurture their creativity. Whilst doing so, parents can witness the magic of their child’s imagination coming to life.

Duck Pond

Farmer Palmer’s duck pond is home to a variety of species of domestic ducks and geese. At any time you may see Indian Running Ducks, Game Birds, Call Ducks, Chickens and Geese.

Summer Maize Maze

As you navigate your way through the Maize Maze, the anticipation builds as you encounter countless twists and turns. It creates an atmosphere of intrigue and excitement!

Picnic Areas

Spread across the park, our picnic areas provide a perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal. With over 50 picnic tables strategically placed in different areas of the park, visitors can choose their ideal setting.
